What I Provided

Over three years of service branching across multiple positions and responsibilities over the years, categorized under two main roles. Self-managed balancing between these two roles had to be exercised at a constant rate.

Media Manager:
Overseeing all marketing and multimedia production pertaining to company branding and product sales. The company previously had no one with experience filling this role, creating the challenging task of bringing the brand’s photography and design up to a higher standard across the website and social media channels.

Senior Production Technician:
Overseeing the calibration and final testing of all 3D printers assembled for sale before shipping. Troubleshooting customer machines and assisting in tech support cases, fabricating and innovating when necessary to make products work as intended.

Video

Over the course of my time at SeeMeCNC, I produced multiple videos to show off new products, give insight on company culture to the public, showcase community members, provide event coverage, and overall strengthen the brand’s image through compelling stories and interesting visual experiences.

Pre-production, principal photography, and post-production were all orchestrated by myself in almost all cases.

Product photography was about 90% of the images I would produce at SeeMeCNC, and I loved it! Our goal was always to have a product page on our website that had a similar feel as McMaster-Carr or any other industrial parts manufacturer, with some additional flair here and there that made our site feel modern and techy. I would also bust my camera out for events and tradeshows to make sure we were always spotlighting the wonderful community we had supporting us.

Design

Combining the product photography I captured with good design principles and a brand identity system that I developed over time, I produced a multitude of brand collateral including:

  • website elements

  • social posts

  • tradeshow materials

  • banners

  • flyers

  • print materials

  • business cards

  • maintenance travellers

  • order forms

  • & more
